Mr. Afolabi Tajudeen Adetoyese is the Head of Finance and Accounts of Centre for Black Culture and International Understanding (CBCIU).Over 2 decades, 15 years in the Banking industry with 10 years as a Managing Director.
Qualifications: HND, BSC, MSC- Accounting, ACA .Professional Qual: ICAN, CIBN. Others: EFCC- Training in fraud and money laundering prevention/detection. Special skills: Expert in the use of accounting software packages like: Peachtree, QuickBooks, Excel, words, power points etc
High Chief Ifáyẹmi Ọ̀ṣundàgbónu Elebuibon is the Artist-in-Residence at the Centre for Black Culture and International Understanding, Osogbo. He is a Yoruba and Nigerian writer, poet, author, linguist, and a world-famous Ifa priest. Born in 1947 in Osogbo, Elebuibon comes from a long line of hunters, priests, herbalists, and warriors. His father was claimed to be a descendant of the legendary warrior Olutimehin, one of the founders of the city of Osogbo. His mother was born into a family of priests who worshipped Oya and Ifa. The title "Araba" is given to the chief Ifa priest of Osogbo, and this title was held by his maternal grandfather, Kẹ̀hìndé Adéyẹmi Awóníyì, the longest serving Araba of Osogbo.
Born over four decades ago to the family of Mr. & Mrs. Gbeola Caleb Olusola, (JP) in Ilobu, Irepodun Local Government Area, Osun State.
A graduate of Social Studies Education with second class upper division from the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State. Started his career in administration as Personnel Assistant III with the State Primary Education Board, Osogbo, Osun State in August, 1995. He later joined the service of Federal Ministry of Education as Master Grade III Officer at Federal Government Girls College, Ikot Obio Itong, Akwa Ibom State.
In August, 2009, He joined Centre for Black Culture and International Understanding, Osogbo as an Archivist-in-training. He later proceeded to National Archives Ibadan where he obtained Diploma in Archival Administration and Records Management. Indexing and class listing of documents and materials in Ulli Beier Archive of the Centre were to his credit.
Mr. Akangbe is proactive, adaptive, conscientious and self-motivated public administrator who has worked in various organizations and in different capacities. He was the Lead Head Inventory and Warehouse in Hygeia Nig. Ltd. (Lagoon Hospitals), Lagos and the Sales Representative WAHUM Packaging, Ikeja, Lagos. He is proficient in the use of Microsoft Project, Peachtree premium accounting, QuickBooks, Microsoft Dynamics NAV, ~ ERPs, CITRUS and SAGE PASTEL.He has a strong financial acumen and a strong organizational management, and analytical skills. With good understanding of the basic principles of materials management and budget control, he has the ability to interpret and analyze inventory reports for cost effective budgeting and purchasing.
Omotosho Oluwadamilare Adekola holds B.Sc Estate Management from the prestigious Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Second Class Upper Division (2019) and currently undergoing his Postgraduate-Diploma programme in Information Technology. He holds Certificate in Certificate in Web Development, Desktop Publishing and Certificate in Graphics Design..
